"Chicago and its' decaying citizens have never looked more diseased. And I have never seen a book containing so lavish and impressive a portfolio of the grotesque." - Ed Bryant in Locus
"Wayne Allen Sallee writes with a cattle prod and a coal chisel; he sparks your nerves and scrapes your soul." - Joe R. Lansdale
"Vintage Wayne Allen Sallee is a fusion of the gritty and the surreal, of compassion and paranoia. A trip to this Wayne's World is to know what a growing cult audience has known for years; he's a singularly unique talent that crawl under your skin and stays."
- Brian Hodge, author of MAD DOGS, WILD HORSE, and NIGHTLIFE.
"Sallee writes self-help books for the generation of those who will not experience the American Dream." - Mike G. Ward
"Sallee is not another King/Barker/Jason/Freddie clone. He is an original writer, and his pen is dipped in pain. Sallee doesn't write safe, predictable horror. He has a certain twisted, subtle humor. Jack the Ripper with a grin." - Karl Edward Wagner
"Definitely not one-fisted material" - The Dayton Voice
"Sallee's specialty is street-level terror." - Paul Sammon
